Excellent, very different in pace to kill zone, this is a large battle novel with suspenseful fights, great MC development and very sci-fi and military genre. I've just been introduced to the second MC, and am liking him a lot.

Fantastic, so far it's an introduction to the world and armies and the plot is already known. The background/worldbuilding is well developed and each army is very different. Makes a big difference from reading the usual elves and dwarfs. Great that they are actual historical armies with some fantasy, sci-fi added.

Really enjoying this mystery novel. The author keeps you guessing, revealing hints through out and you don't need to be a 40000 fan to understand what things are. Easy to understand, nicely written and well developed. Four characters, each with opposing personalities, each developing well. Great plot.
