The scene of pitou fumbling around pokkle's brain traumatized me a little bit back in the day. His death was truly pitiful. Webnovel has provided me with even more disturbing scenes tho so now such scenes "make me frown" at most. Is this a good thing ? I don't know. I don't want to know.

xD then here's your anwser SPOILERS AHEAD The ring works like this: There's no special powers aside from becoming a returnee, but if I remember correctly, there is a "power retention" on the second ring. the outer ring, or first circle, goes back to one year before. the ring after that goes back to a month. But if I'm not mistaken, he directly inherits his powers from the "end of the previous life" which is like, super OP. I guess the third ring goes back a week if I remember correctly (I could be wrong because I don't remember him dying a third time). obviously should he fail to kill his killer in any ring, he dies permanently. As for questions like, "what if he dies to disease?" "natural disasters" ? "nuclear bombs?"....I have no clue :p
