It also helps I studied mechanical engineering at school and I'm starting my masters next year. I wouldn't say I'm the smartest guy there is but I know my way around physics and chemistry better than most and could hopefully pull some of that technology out of my ass in a pinch. It is a massive chair of melted swords that Aegon acquired from the conquest, mostly from when Cregen Stark knelt and surrendered. In the show its just a big chair but in the books and lore it is massive, maybe 20+ ft not 100% sure

Kind of, more like a Rouge Norse god like Loki in MCU. Rag oral in lore is done by Fenrir but since he is the God of Wolves had to change it a little
Authors Note: Next chapter we meet the Giants and Ashara arrives in the North. I'm going for the Norse gods = The Old gods for a more climactic Long Night. I want it to be on a bigger/better scale! I was thinking of adding that. Only issue is it generally requires nickel and it isn’ a cannon metal. Thigh geographically it wouldn’t be out of place. Thanks for the suggestion!
Life in Wintefell has fallen back to the monotonous and repetitive lull following the departure of the Lords a few moons ago. With said departure, my brother Ned and sister Lyanna returned back to their fostering resulting in Winterfell returning to a tranquil state. No longer is Lyanna skipping lessons to watch the Ned, Benjen, and I train in the yard or sneak out to practice archery and sword play. Probably something more like this, but more simplistic. Layered steel plates and grieves with a helmet. Won't save your life from everything but compared to normal levy equipment it will make a huge difference
The proposal is quite simple in design, consisting of a 500 solider per house with an additional 500 rotational soldiers. Essentially it is a 6 moon on 6 moon off service where for 6 months they are trained in a modified modern boot camp style system instilling teamwork and fighting as a unit rather than the piss poor tactics of medival Europe. Adopting an armor style of the Romans and Greeks and utilizing the hoplite fighting formations, these soldiers will tear into any ranks of levies raised by other Kingdoms. Only the Lannister's standing army can compare to a degree. After the initial training they will drill and train for 6 moons out of a year and perform other military duties such as fighting bandits, assisting on the wall, and escorting Lords on their travels. The soldiers on their 6 moon leave to tend to fields or other occupations will every 2 moons will spend one week of refresher training to ensure their skills and discipline is intact. - David_Sooman1yrReplied to SUBSCRIBE_MY_LIST
They never had the money or forges to outfit any levies with more than leather and fur. I just assumed people would realize that there would be fur linned from the Umbers Yaks in the armor for warmth

Blood raven has a major impact of the story in theory. His impact is almost all off the page and its mostly speculation. As for the story I'll say he won't have much impact as with a SI he already knows the whole plot without being stuck in a tree so he is kind of moot as in the shows his whole purpose is giving us Jon Snows parents
