not exactly. it means that I need to rewrite a chunk of it, the first 20 chapters or so need a big investment, and then there are places all over that can be improved, then I'll re-upload and try again. definition of insanity is repeating the same thing and expecting different results. no matter how much more I add, Webnovel still hasn't offered a contract. without that, I'm limited in what I can do. I've got an outline for this through volume 4 and that's just to get to the Immortal realm, then there's whole bunches of new stuff. better to consider this "under construction" rather than dropped. it'll be back, hopefully by the end of the year.

She may show up again when Wu Ling becomes an Understudy - he'll have to decide at that point if he wants to awaken an additional path or not and if anyone knows about taking multiple paths, she does. What do you think? Should Wu Ling add a second path when he reaches the second stage?

None of the characters are human. At least, not yet. There's more about this in my other book (same world, different time) but Spirit Folk and Spirit Beasts are 2 sides of the same coin - Ancestral Spirits that could assume human or beast forms. Spirit Folk can no longer become beasts, Spirit Beasts can no longer become people. Progress far enough in cultivation, that may change. There are humans in this world, but they aren't the focus of this story.

Wu Ling will certainly create a stir :)

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, Immortal Realms aren't planned until Volume 05 and we're just now wrapping up Volume 01. You'll still get glimpses of the Immortal Realms in Interlude chapters until then but don't expect to see a ton about Immortals and Immortal cultivation until Volume 04 / 05.

The Azure Dragon Immortal blood essence is too powerful for her to easily work with. If she'd taken Mei Lien's offer, it would have turned her instantly into a 4th or 5th stage cultivator but without the skill of an Immortal or at least a powerful True Dragon like Cong Houzi, Ao Wen is limited in what she can do with it.
