i don't think there is more strata than the nr required for the ancients ,there are 12 ancient "seats" to *complete the circle* (quote from a chapter) There are 11 ancients ,also it seems every strata has an element/trait corresponding to ancient... except Anthony "unique" purple gravity magic. Seems to advance further on the ladder of ancients it is required worship/believers also(see 3 strata who has a demon god ancient)...(its like an experiment to create a god ... or some of ancient artificial intelligence (the system who creates new builds/skill trees,races of creatures based on the pure data of how well the creatures adapt..remember the centipedes "scolopendra"..the system decided they adapt quite well and created in 4 strata diamond coated centipedes...or about the scorpions who have gone extinct ...cuz they where hated and overhunted everywhere ..it is mentioned by Granim. Ok thiml there are maximum 13 strata ...12 to complete the circle...and the 13 is theone around they complete it .. Also seems every ancients who emerged on the surface during rendering ,was on his own territory corresponding to surface map,if the map was divided equally in 12 ,that makes me believe further in the 12 strata theory . (this it is mentioned in a chapter also)

There is absolutely no reason for me to doubt that the sequel will not be as good as the first,so it's 5/5 â from me. Liked the steampunk world and the eldritch Lovecraftian-like settings and outer gods. Sadlyni will not start the novel for now... i'm waiting for more chapters..i know the pain to wait for the next chapter, i don't even want to spoil myself by reading the synopsys, so this is a "Blind review" but i read the other novels of the author,so i'm 100% i will not be disappointed.
