i can understand his fragile state. C has gone through an immense number of restarts and this one time everything seems to be looking up. Even if he doesn't know what exactly has changed, the fact remains its the best version so far that he is aware of. However his knowledge form those immense restarts do have a mental affect on him and he tends to rely on those to get through the days and also dictate his actions most of the time. In a sense, the way i see it, he set himself on a unconscious limiter that if he for some reasons strays too far from he already knows will go wrong, things can take a turn for a serious worse. After all, he has personal experience. Also i typed a lot more than i though i would and i wonder if anyone will actually read all of this, still, gotta gives props to the author and their great knack for storytelling.

I have been trying to understand just where he could be taking this since he technically already had a successful business. The only thing i could come up with that would make sense of his actions would be that, this new organization that he is forcing the girls into will be one they can use openly with shadow garden. since they have cleared up they cant be open about the Mitsugoshi Company being tied with shadow garden.
