Lucy and Theodore were always 2 of my favorite characters. I always hated she had married someone besides him. I can see the wedding in my head. I can never see the faces of the characters but everything else is clear.

I am not, nor have I ever been, the type to even read a card, much less a novel. I can't put this down! I am the addict and this is my fix. Your imagination is guided easily to know these characters. The writer is great at making your emotions go up and down. No more Netflix binges. The only place you can't indulge is when your driving. Lol

Why does this story have to be so amazing. It's like drugs and I'm the addict!

I knew it! I knew he wanted Irene and not Heaven. I bet he gives Irene the option of trading places with Heaven. Then he can get the rest of his family to his kingdom while trying to save her. Remember it is hard to get out once you are there.

If Irene has a soft spot for him then the Devil has to have the same for Irene right. Maybe she will remember he wanted Lucian dead at birth so Irene wasn't used for the purpose of creating 'halfbreeds' to rule the kingdoms. Zamiel should go to the water Demons and see if they can help. Heaven's servant, the other smoke demon, could help as well.

I can't stand having to wait for the next chapter!!!! I really love this story.

I thought the same at first and hated when I realized they wouldn't be together because of Zamiel. I was rooting for Zarin...but the way it has turned out he was probably not a good choice. That is why this has been a good read so far though. What I thought I wanted to happen doesn't, yet I'm still satisfied shortly after.

Does anyone else think Gina will end up with the smoke demon that serves Heaven? He is what she's been looking for.

I can't feel sorry for him unfortunately. He had many woman in front of her. Even in his bedroom while heaven was there. She asked him to marry her and he didn't even think about it before saying no because he wanted to be 'free.' He has never cares for her or worries until he sees she may become more than himself. He also had to be forced to lessons at the castle where he knew she would be and had no one else but Gina. I feel like he always acted like he was better than her from the start. He is a boy not a man that is for sure. after leaving his own parents and everyone else I could care less if he makes it to the next chapter. Klara had the strength to move on but her son is selfish and weak.

First book I've read in a very long time. Really gets you hooked fast. The story is always changing, keeping your attention and never losing you along the way.
