Definitely a big rehash of canon, but i have added some differences in the recent chapters. Sorry! I always liked those “what if Ash was smarter?” Videos and MC kind of acts as that “smarter” for Ash. It’s mainly supposed to be seen as MCs overall influence on Ash’s journey.

Lol. I’ve honestly considered having Raichu “learn” how to talk. i mean surely if Meowth could, a person reincarnated into a Pokémon could. right? But i also feel some people wouldnt like that. As nearly every poke fan fic has the MC being able to talk to his Pokémon, either through psychic or aura. It would definitely be an only Ash knows sort of thing though if i did do that

I was actually looking into that and they do, and i plan to make it a progression sort of deal. as they get better, they are able to combine compatible moves together.

I actually forgot that was a thing, So maybe I’ll do a flashback to explain why his electricity is so strong. thanks for the reminder :)

Ya i felt the same, but i couldnt think of any other way without completely ripping the show. I’ll try better for future Pokémon!

I would maybe consider giving him a mega Evolution, but that wouldn’t happen until at least Kalos. thanks though
