Thank you. I really appreciate it. Writing does take time. Eventually, stories end and begin, and the time it takes in-between tend to be the most beautiful moments. I will do my best

Hey, Ven. Yeah, it has been a while. (Shame on my part.) I have good news; my graduation is pretty close, and I have one final academic stretch before Im finally free from the grand education system. The stuff I'm learning is also pretty cool, so it can be applied to my writing as well. Those are the little positives I try to find amidst a lot of work. I've been feeling better by the way. I have been more active and engaging in my immediate life; so it doesn't feel like my brain is overloaded or dying. You can see Ethan understand that, but not fully apply it to himself. Also, Im working on the new arc. I shall be honest, the next chapter might drop in a month

I don't know what that is

Kim Namwoon's options were less than stellar. Unusual Adaptability was perfect to conforming to new situations, but I had Asian Adaptability. Knife Fighting was pretty basic; I didn't see the use in learning that skill when I already had Self-taught Sword Fighting Lv.8. That left Blackening as the only option. Paired with my Anger Lord attribute, Blackening would do well. If I remembered correctly, Blackening encompassed a person's body with a dark aura, which increased their physical attacks.

Nah, Ein, that's just property tax, my guy. Any adult would know, unless they're a renter, which a lot are these days

An upkeep! He didn't imagine that there would be a need to pay DP to maintain his dungeon. Looking closely, he discovered that a summoning circle needs about 25% of its initial cost as upkeep. This wasn't noted anywhere in the dungeon core; what a scam!

"If I have humanoid monsters and arm them with weapons, won't I have an easier time protecting my dungeon?" he pondered.

It's the latest Puss and Boots movie

One of the wolves noticed a weird wall inside the cave. It was protected by a barrier and covered with an illusion. Curious, the wolf cautiously smashed the barrier and passed through the illusion. A large cage was placed inside. Within the cage, a few figures shuffled.

Hey, as long as you get your credits and get out, it's the best possible solution. I've learned long ago that academics and grade percentages are superficial means of judging potential and character. For me, I've realized that my curriculum isn't going to give me exactly what I want or need in life, so I'm doing the bare minimum to finish this long-winded academic journey in order to cut my losses, so to speak. Finding what I wanted to do is a healthy reminder of what I have beyond what is given to me. Modern life is like being trapped in a scenario and a system, but there are ways to fight back. Personally, I needed to realize my grades, good or bad, were not my entire being or story. Removing the power it had over me was like removing a weight from my shoulders. Also, I am glad you're alive and well, and reading my story too. I feel honored you've given your time and thoughts to the words I've written. There's a Latin saying I know, and this a paraphrase of it: "The day you wasted is the tomorrow someone couldn't have." I don't use that saying as some "sigma male" reminder to get back onto some grindset, but to be conscientious and appreciative of my days, regardless if I'm being productive or lackadaisical. It reminds me of my mortality and what I can do with it. Also, I've written this comment after drinking two cups of coffee and staying up for nearly 20 hours

Hey, Ven. Ender here. Yes, I am alright. Thank you for the message. I've been busy with my studies, and it is somewhat draining on my enthusiasm. In regards to the AORV storyline, I am tentatively working on it. I'm fleshing out future arcs, and how it'll connect to the present storyline I have left off. I make it sound as if I'm planning out everything; in reality, I am jotting down random ideas and moments, like little pieces of a bigger puzzle. In regards to being in a discord group, I am actually part of a little self-made server for The World After the Fall. If you type into Google "The World After the Fall wiki fandom," and go to any page (I recommend the Jaehwan page,) you will see a Discord widget that will allow you to join

Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for taking the time to comment and critique. Ever since posting this fanfiction, I learned a lot, and one of them being the importance of a fixed viewpoint. It wasn't until now that someone mentioned my writing not concluding anything. I think my problem is trying to set up a lot of things and foreshadow, and yet it takes very long for me to get there for any substantial pay off. So, I'll keep in mind to avoid tangents in my writing

Hello. Is this a good or bad thing? Comments are pretty rare these days, and I would like to know your opinions on the switching viewpoints. I made a note about them, but I'd love to understand my shortcomings further. Also, if anyone else reads this comment in the future, please keep in mind, this fanfiction is the equivalent of me bashing my head against a brick wall, and painting an art piece with the blood splatter

Thank you, knowing that AORV still interests you means a lot. Also, pardon the late reply. Been trying to ween myself off of checking my online notifications. In terms of interest, I still have it, but it's taken a backseat to some other projects I've been working on. I've always intended to treat this fanfiction as a testing ground, but take it seriously as an original story. Doing so allowed me to break into the Webnovel platform and carve my own niche. I've also gained more understanding on my end. But back to this story. I don't intend to drop it, but I don't intend to go back to the crazy grindset I had before. I have some responsibilities to focus on, and ignoring them to write this would be wrong of me. Mainly, what I'm trying to say, I'm going to go at a healthy pace, but that's not going to translate to frequent updates here. I just wanted to be transparent about that. Anyways, happy reading!

Yeah, that's been my main go-to whenever I've been frustrated with writing certain stories. Take a break and write another. But lately, it feels like a distraction now. Can't write that fantasy story? Well, write the Cyberpunk one instead. Don't wanna write an original story? Create another fanfiction. Mainly, I've been trying to create, but there's been a lot of mental roadblocks. I've identified them, and now I have to work through them. Passion is pretty important, but it can only take someone so far. After some ruminating, I've learned that it's discipline that's gonna carry me through my writing journeys. Aside from that, thanks for your understanding. I'll write a few chapters before summers over, and those author notes will have more explanations. Anyways, thanks and happy reading!

I see. That is very interesting. Thank you for sharing!

Ein and Gene were both orphans from the same facility. They grew up like true brothers to each other. However, on that fateful day in 2025, when the dungeons started appearing around the world, their orphanage was quickly destroyed by monsters, leaving only the two of them alive. Since then, they both vowed to one day eliminate all monsters from the face of the earth. However, modern weaponry was useless against the monsters. They did not have a single way to fight back.
