Firstly, even a burst of chakra gives a blue hue around its user, so a chakra construct can't possibly be transparent. Secondly, a transparent Susano would be pointless and counter productive. A big part of the Susano is its intimidation, even in its early stages. you probably have seen how defeated the five kage looked when Madara unveiled the perfect Susano. I will see about the prospect of the Susano changing colours. But it is usually one colour only with a different colour for the eyes.

Firstly, Naruto unlocked his Mangekyo when he saw Kushina breathe out her final breath. secondly, as I stated before, although he unlocked his Mangekyo, his body and mind isn't ready to support them yet. Thirdly, he couldn't shield his sister properly beacuse as until that point he was a raised sheltered a way from conflict and war. so he didn't react well when he was attacked. lastly, his mother and he had an Iron rule, he can use anything except his wood release and sharigan until he is strong enough. He may save himself and his sister in the attack with them, but the consequences would be even more severe.

you give a lot of valid reasons, but you need to consider that I'm a rookie writer writing his first fanfic. I look forward to always improve my writing as I write more chapters and new books. For the update schedule, as I stated before I am a university student with limited free time. I can only upload 1 to 2 good chapters a week. but don't worry, in the summer break the upload schedule will surely intensity.

Also I am looking to increase my writing quality and level. I want the people who read my stories to enjoy reading something good not something rushed that only looks for views.
