Actually yes, thats kind of how i picture him. except the face is a little sharper not as soft looking as Miyamura. as well as the hair being completely straight with a slight blue tint in the sunlight. hope this helps with the image for you some more

Ryosei is just trying to prevent that a little bit. And you’re right, according to the show “Nijimura” (captain before Akashi) was better than Aomine and the others until the 2nd year. This will be shown a little bit in the next chapter, i don’t want to spoil though.
