The extreme use of “none other than” is so distracting from the story. Seems to be a word count filler.
He drove for an hour plus a few minutes and finally arrived at none other than Calise's home. He parked the car, got down, and shut the door, locking it afterward. October's lips twitched and her face was on a deep scowl as she glared daggers at him. She then opened her mouth to say words in her icey voice, "It was not easy to work from scratch.
