Hahaha this chapter had me smiling so hard! You're a weed Oliver! A WEED!! Author-san I like how you show Ian's wisdom by expanding on the phrase "don't play with fire or you'll get burned" to fire is alive and doesn't like it when you mess with it's rest. Really you're a genius writer, and it really shines through your characters.
I would struggle with not being jealous of all the women Ian had before if I were Elise. She's a brave girl. Hahahaha! He's so casual about body disposal. "River or fire, which do you prefer?" I wonder if she would actually have a preference as she has never disposed of a human body before. Hahaha! I can just see Ian's face towards Maroon. "Oh you want to be my servant? Okay, here's a shovel. You're gonna need it." *Evil grin*
I really hope Ian remains an unkillable, unstoppable monster to the end. Seriously. Author-san this novel is very, very good. Your English may not be perfect, but I strongly disagree with one other commentor saying that it's "atrocious". That's too much. Keep up the good work!
Lord Ian is such a "good" bad guy. Seriously his character is really well written, and he stays true to his nature. Too many authors set up characters like him and then fluffify them. He chopped off a guy's head! In front of her! On purpose! I love him.
Wait wait.. he hates Isabella too? He knows she's a snake?! Did this not come out in Marianne's past life? What happened to Isabella in the past life? Did I miss that in a previous chapter? He just talked about getting rid of both of them in one go in this chapter. Marianne clearly doesn't know he hates her and suspects them of cheating. So... What happened to Isabella in the past life?
Hoho there is hope for the ML. Poisoned on the wedding day. Yes, he was disgusted with her, but he still chose to not poison her in return by not kissing her. I could see why he wouldn't explain anything if he thought she did it or knew about it. When your heart is already bitter and broken it's really hard to give anyone a fair chance especially if you are suspicious of them. She didn't help the situation either, but how can she magically know what she doesn't know. I doubt he ever told her anything in her past life. Hard to come back and fix if you don't know what actually happened. They have a hard road ahead. I wish them both a happy future and second chance!
So far this is one of the better ones that I've read from this genre. I'm curious to see where the author takes the story. I like the main character, and I think the author has a good plot and so far it's been entertaining and enjoyable to read. The characters are interesting and the author does well portraying their thoughts and intentions while still hunting that more development for the future. I look forward to the rest of the story.
