Kinda not in the mood to give myself 5 stars, I like writing but I don't have much confidence in anything besides my decent vocab and grammar, however others tend to leave me good reviews so maybe it's worth giving a try!? I hope you all can give this story a try! It's the kind of novel you'll know whether you like in after only a handful of chapters so I won't be asking ya'll to 'just read to chapter 40!!!' If you don't like it I can only hope you will forget to leave a review or that you are objective in that review lol. Actually if there's dumb reviews that are bringing down my rating that don't even have a valid point I'll probably just delete them. Bow before my strength you powerless readers mwagahahaha

Thank you for this, but I think there's a small misunderstanding. I'm not giving up on writing or anything, infact I'm not mad or depressed that it's not popular. If anything I completely expected that. However I have other hobbies which I find equally fun to writing, and I switch between them whenever I get bored of one due to doing it too much. The only reason I would keep writing this story is if I felt that I was providing entertainment to others or accomplishing something. Basically writing has failed to graduate from a hobby to a passion in my mind, and that is why I have no motivation to write. This would make me lazy or conceited, however I never expected it to gain any attention in the first place. I don't really feel like I gave up or just wanted attention, I just did it for fun and then got bored. Which is why I say that a lack of support for the novel made me stop writing, because the support of others would have provided a new motivation beyond my dwindling self-satisfaction. However if I misunderstood and I actually do have some readers, I would be happy to update every so often, I just don't think I can find enjoyment in writing for hours every day with no support from others like I have been. (I did used to get some comments from dedicated readers, but they stopped commenting and voting so I assumed they were no longer there. I then put some author notes out asking for anyone to comment if they were reading because I didn't want to be hasty, but I got no response other than a bot comment, so I assumed it would be ok for me to stop) Once again, thank you for your concern/advice, I genuinely appreciate it.

Basically, since me and my brother are the only ones voting for it, and no one ever commented or reviewed after a while, it also stopped getting any nee readers and so I lost motivation.

Hi, thanks for sharing your concerns! On the whole note of him not being able to keep up, I actually touched on that in a previous chapter, and the solution is actually in the next chapter. The truth is that Einer already can’t keep up, however he’s been using the advantage of high casting speed and kamikaze sneak attacks to keep himself out of close combat scenarios. As you will see, his combat style will continue to evolve as his curse does, which will be revealed soon enough. I understand where you’re coming from, just give it a little time, I’ll do my best to not disappoint!
