Ok so dragons didn’t all have riders and in fact most dragons didn’t when a dragon gave birth she had two choices one give the egg to the riders and have it wait for a rider or hatch the egg in which case you have a wild dragon witch while just as smart was not so civilized. You see sephera might have talked to you if you approached a wild dragon wouldn’t dragon riders weren’t a thing until the dragons and elves had a big war and it only ended when Eragon the first rider found and saved a dragon egg and only after that did the dragons and elves come together to cast a massive spell to allow dragon riders to be a thing

Just so you know Sectumsempra is a curse that was created by Snape when he was a student and the only reason harry knew it was because he had to barrow old potions text books from the school and he got Snapes old books where he put his notes on everything and the reason Snape got angry when he saw Harry using it is James Harry’s dad once stole a different spell from him and then used it on him and he was so angry that when lily Harry’s mom tried to intervene he called her a mudblood and in his mind it wasn’t entirely unjustified because he only shared his spells with her so obviously she betrayed him and taught James his spells
