Hmmm 🤔 Interesting.
The tunnel led to the most unexpected place, soot staining Angelo hands and pants as he got out. It led to what looked like a prayer room in a church, one that was charred black. It had clearly been in a terrible fire and had been abandoned.

I don’t remember being this way the first time I read it. It just feels a little off because Arlo is not introduced into the room. All we know from the previous chapter is that Marcus open the door. It is fine how it is though because it all gets cleared up pretty quickly.

Wait! I’m reading the story for the second time while I wait for new chapters. There is definitely something out of order here. These paragraphs should not be right here.

No, but Jael might when the jealousy hits. I don’t think Patty is a good match for him but Rosie probably is.
Rosie appraised the trainer, he was tall, knew how to handle guns and had a decent job, Davian probably wouldn't shoot him on sight.

Angelo got off the bed, in a huff. He had slept off on his first day on the job and had to be carried back to his room, his ego had really taken a big hit from that. Never mind how quickly he seemed to fall asleep these days, was it still a leftover side effect from his heat?

Am I the only one who had to look up what a himbo is?
"Thank you!" Angelo called to her from a distance, glancing at Kris by his boss' side who hadn't had so much as a reaction to seeing him. The mostly silent himbo was good for his boss.
