what was he bribing her for? A bribe is to get someone to do something for you...
Wow, to hold back your feelings to keep a friendship... it makes me like Noah's character much more now. I still prefer Vincent for Eve, but wow what a gem Noah is.
David is a man's name 😂
Hmm. If Julie can't fake being compelled by Piper, I don't think Piper will tell Dante. But then Julie will go to her Uncle's not to get Roman in more trouble. Does the story move outside the University then? Roman won't leave Julie. Melanie and Conner might get wise to what's going on and join their parents as hunters. So excited for the answers in the next chapters.
Julie needs to tap fully into her witch powers to protect herself. Also, I can't see Roman being under the thumb of Donovan forever. Which means he has to become more powerful than the elders, no?
Maybe the Corvin was leading her away from the vampire school. Girl, your life is in danger there. Come to the other side of the road where it's safe lol. idk let's see if she accepts Roman...and if he can keep her safe. Even he initially thought she'd be safer away from this Uni.
I think Conner is going to regret losing the chance to date Mel...that is if Simon (or whoever Roman was hinting at) actually pursues Melanie and makes Conner jealous. Conner and Reese seem kinda meh. Melanie was really into Conner. I think she would have made a better gf. I love that this story has interesting side characters.
Seems possible. Either Simon finds out Julie can't be compelled or Caleb is there to offer protection in Roman's absence.
It's her uncle. to take her out of school because her father escaped or because her father is holding his family hostage until he brings Julie home. Only way to get Julie away from Roman's protection because he has to stay for the elders. idk, but Everytime I think I can stop reading, there is a hook to keep me wanting updates. Nice.
Griffin and Jackson took her? or Maybe she was sick from her wet hair and in a fever state actually made her way to the bridge....
