You know the downside of being ultra-intelligent? You start to think your humanity is something that holds you back, imprisons you, and limits you. I've seen countless stories where the protagonist pursues immortality, tossing everything aside—their humanity and the infinite possibilities of human interaction. They confine themselves to a purely material focus. Sure, you reach the top, but what then? What is left after you hit the ceiling? You're all alone, and the foundation you built upon is utterly superficial because you focused on just a single aspect of life. As for the protagonist, they strike me as someone profoundly lacking a sense of meaning; their purpose is shallow and plain. All these stories end when there's nothing left to tell, right when the character achieves their 'goal.' But what happens after that? Nobody writes about that because it's profoundly flat—there's nothing left to do. Even trying to imagine how an ultra-powerful, immortal being with a total lack of personality would look for something beyond power is complicated. Regardless, I loved the story, and I’ll keep reading it until the end, or at least until I get bored of how monotonous and simple the protagonist is.

Honestly, I’m around chapter 40 now and it’s been amazing so far, but something has really been bothering me. The fact that someone else basically controls his own shelter just because of military status is seriously frustrating. Other than that, though, it’s really good. And honestly, if that doesn’t change, I might drop it no matter how good the story is.

I love the phrase 'When Spider-Man wins, Peter Parker loses,' and this story captures it perfectly. While a hero needs to suffer to grow, it's even better when they actually win ,and in this case, it's absolutely necessary
