Mc acts like a barbarian so prolly warrior, I like healer for self heal, mage or archer is a must for a true ranged option (prolly don’t need both) I’d go for mage in hopes of a battle amge or magic swordsman class later. Assassin/rogue classes usually have hidden modifiers like crit chance or sneak attack which could stack crazy damage bonuses. Past that I guess I’ve seen a few stories where necromancers do some pretty crazy stuffs (custom ‘living’ undead armor and weapons that level up with the mc) so maybe that alchemy and blacksmithing could do something wacky but I feel like I’d just save the points after choosing healer, warrior, mage, rogue and see if anything else pops up later

Normally in games I’d pick a high hp tanky char with some sort of self heal or life leech… but if I couldn’t get that healing skill I think the minato (naruto) template works best, hit them before they hit you and avoid every attack thrown in your general direction. In this case I’d prolly go agi/sense then bring up str so you deal decent dmg. All this assumes int isn’t some game breaking stat that actually makes you smarter and gives you knowledge like some other fics. Ps: why doesn’t int have a paired stat? [str/vit], [agi/sense], [int/ … wis? Mana? Theorycrafting a characters build at the beginning of a story is one of my favorites so please forgive the wall of text XD

Did he though? He was actively sabotaged by his academy teachers wasn’t he? I remember a few scenes of him training and I can’t imagine him just wandering around the village much during the day where he can be abused. And even if it was unintentional, his traps for pranks caught up trained ninja and didn’t they chase him around the village a lot? Correct me if I’m wrong, it’s been a while since I’ve read/watched any canon so my memory may be biased from fanfiction.

As a person who’s never played the game, are any of the monsters of any use then? Dont they all have major weak points for high ranked shinobi to exploit? If they don’t have health pools what’s stopping the trained since birth killers from 1 shotting everything mc summons?

His personality being completely different was the point though no? It would be much easier to just change his name in universe (to your name for the mc rather than whatever character they reincarnate as), giving a character two names is almost always confusing. Most authors refer to the character as one name in their head but have other characters address them by the other name, but then, every new universe the character gets a new name so eventually you have asta naruto luffy saiki natsu bell d. dragneel the 7th.
