Historically, slavery was a lot different pre-colonial era. Slaves were still treated like people. In some cultures, you couldn't even tell which was a slave and which was free-born. Although this story only has 2Chapters at the moment, the author's ability to describe a scene is brilliant! The author's writing style is also amazing! I was completely captivated by the 1st chapter! Then the 2nd chapter with Shadow had caught me off guard and having me wanting more! Hope this story continues!
