Wow!! the story keeps getting more intense and intriguing with every chapter. Lith's determination not tie his destiny to the crown is a good thing but he is also smart enough to know he might in future need allies in high places .

Hooked on this book, am pretty sure my ratings for it will go higher as I proceed. The author makes the world of mages and magic so real and believable.
