What whisper? This MC is becoming a frickin idiot. He could have killed that MF and complete the main quest, but no, he just had to show off like a moron. Showing off isn't a problem, but making a fool of oneself by doing so is. So keep staring ahead you moron. Gaze at the retreating figure of the one you could have killed, but because of your stupidity, he still lived. Just when the Re Zero arc had gave me a bit of hope for this MC, he then dropped it all the way in the next arc.

Anyway, with this BS, I decided to skip the Shana world arc and just read Re Zero arc.

When I read this line, i literally exclaimed, "Wait wut?" The frick is this BS? What's the point of having Mystic Eyes of Death Perception if its going to be nerfed af.

bruh, this fanfic is becoming too painful to read. i wouldn't mind if the MC was like this from the start since i would be expecting it, but the sudden change in personality is like we got bamboozled.

Yeah, like bruh. This fanfic had already started to rub me off the wrong way. the MC didn't accept girls who loved him and were dedicated to him, yet for no reason, chose this girl who he had just recently met, and even forced himself upon her. It would have been more understandable if in the narrative, it was explained that the MC watched Asterisk anime and Sylvie is his waifu. yet it wasn't explained. A lot of readers kept on saying that this fanfic is one of the few chinese fanfics that has been done well, but this fanfic annoyed me more than those racist novels and fanfics due to forced and illogical plots.

To be honest, this fanfic is really testing my patience. As if the pathetic incidents in Hidan no Aria wasn't enough, the MC keeps on getting dumber and dumber "for the sake of the plot". It's not poisonous enough that it contains racism, etc., in extreme amounts. but it rubs me off in the wrong way due to how forced the plot is, and how the MC's IQ is reduced when the plot needs it. its quite infuriating to read. I was planning to read this fanfic for fun but damn, its really becoming annoying.
