these morons, I specifically remembered that the system itself gave him the ability to hide his chakra levels, literally go to the chapter where he awakens his system, it tells him the functions that are granted to him, one of them specifically gifting him the ability to hide his chakra levels from anyone, especially kage level shinobi.

this is actually common for relationships, toxic they may be, but this is tame compared to others. add the fact that there s a supernatural factor mixed in with teenage hormones, then you get the usual cliche couple.

I'm somewhat similar, but instead of sleep, I mainly read.
I ignored Kurumi and attacked Yugao. In my past life, I was a lazy guy who earned 95% in school even after sleeping for 12 hours a day. I was detached from life and didn't feel anything towards anyone or anything. He saw a lot of atrocities, many of which he partook in and led. Most of them ended in bloodshed so he wasn't unfamiliar with it or truly bothered by it too but the one in front of him just in terms of visuals was quite high up on the list. I absolutely love this story and the direction it is going. The growth and mindset of the Mc are realistic. Though the mc's past career as a sou chef doesn't seem to correlate with survival, it can be further from the truth because being part of the cooking industry requires you to pick up survival habits. such as emotional control, maintaining control of your emotions, and extremely important in a situation the Mc is in. If their one thing about Liam, is that he's a man of focus but has awareness of everything around him.
