Honestly, from what I read, it was terrible. The author comes off to me as grinding for money more than creating an interesting world. The character started off as a character I would've loved to learn about and then reincarnated into a 2d boring cat, and that's saying something because I love cats. The author practices a thorough writing style of tell not show so I often feel quite bored reading as i don't get much to paint the world in my mind and little interaction between the world and his actions cause me to care little about what he does. for a kitten who has incredibly overpowered stats he seems to be surrounded by an incredible tough environment since he rarely accidently breaks things with his newfound strength despite never training to control it. His interactions with system should be funny when it repeatable calls it dumb and yet it only serves to bore me further because a page full of caps lock follows that seems more like a middleschoolers playful tangent then a real interaction between two characters. To top it off the grammar is so horrendous that I question whether I actually want to continue reading after every single paragraph. This wouldn't be such a problem if the author struggled with English or something but there is literally a free app which they could download that would make there book 100 times more grammatically correct. TLDR: Good start turned bad story, Shallow characters, tell not show writing style, horrendous grammar, deceitful and greedy author
grammar! at this point the thing is so hard to read I've considered dropping your book almost every other paragraph. The first life of the character was interesting. There seemed to be some actual life in the characters you introduced but now it's boiled down to a cat sitting in a cave doing nothing and the system making fun of him for it. Describe what happens in more detail. Rather than just saying he used water spells to escape the pool describe what the spell looks and feels like. If his spellcasting is truly incredible maybe the spell will make his fur stand on end and the "random slime" tremble. The book started as a great concept but come on, as it is you've made it unreadable.
True and yet it's no less infuriating to read or see someone do it
after reading that the guy would cheat in the quest description why did he try to play fair? My man has definetly been relying on too many game guides
there is likely a limit in mind for these kind of things. I would imagine it relates to your level compared to theirs on how much you can damage their levels with quests. Also if my memory serves right all quests thus far have been optional and only once accepted will drop your level on failing it. in addition to that if the king or npc truly outclassed the target could they not just as easily cripll, maim, or kill them? you might keep your base stats but a two handed swordsman would be significantly weaker if they lost an arm. A bard would lose all their power if their vocal cords got fried, etc.
despite how weird it may sound me and plenty of other people do it quite naturally in conversation. though most of the time I only do it for comedic effect, some actually do it that way.
lol
what's the point in finding money equivalents to hold? it's not like he can use it for anything other then the lottery shops
so... it weighed as much as he guessed? he thought it was quite heavy so I must be that then
ah yes, great victories are indeed great...
does my fate change based on my actions? yes, yes it does
alright I'm betting this new villain either loses popularity and strokes back or is suddenly eliminated by weak monsters
so are they both pretending to know each other? I'm imagining them throwing arms over each other's shoulders and awkwardly laughing while they try to piece together a "backstory" of their friendship
so does that mean that other authors books are now a part of this world's modern world then? because that can't be a coincidence
as if he could refuse it
what was the definition of omniscient again?
good thing it only took almost dying a couple times for him to realize the obvious
