I agree with you. I don't really see why people love the novel so much. IMO there's really nothing great about it. The MC is sooooooo boring! He hardly ever has any skills or spells and always relying on treasures that he can't completely control. Also, the author likes to waste years by making the MC stay in one place for several years "comprehending" and at the end not actually completing it.

I'm really happy there's no harem. Harems seems to spoil most cultivation novels as the MC usually is focused on becoming stronger and don't have much time for all the women. Also, the women are usually weak and the MC has to always protect them which is not always feasible since he has to leave them most times to become stronger.
