"You will be free when you are mine," Dante responded, watching her brown eyes holding questions and doubts. "It is true that I won't let you go, but it is also true that I cannot let you flee from the kingdom. You saw how it goes down when someone attempts to escape. They get captured."
Graham nodded his head as if in agreement to her question, and his eyes unblinkingly looked at her. He said, "In the last five years, I didn't agree to marry any of the young women whom my mother suggested because I never took a liking to any of them. But with you, it is different. I like you."
In the past, the marriage that existed between her and Samuel, they had different blankets for each other. Lucy didn't want Theodore to feel cold without his blanket if he was going to give it to her, she thought to herself.
"What makes you think I am here because of Calhoun? Have you forgotten I am here for my own selfish reasons?" asked Theodore from behind, and Lucy stopped walking, her feet buried in the snow. "I am here because I love you."
Theodore, whose eyes were on Walter, sensed the person who was nearby, and a faint smile appeared on his lips. Soon the wall that was not too far away from them blew up into dust. "I guess it is too late for you people to run now," muttered Theodore under his breath when he caught sight of Calhoun.
Ive been waiting for this monent. Im dreading what is to come, but im also curious to know what other details happened between Theo and Lucy that we are not aware of.
