Its not just Chinese who think like that, many others also think like that. Plus its generally safer to do that in case you are not properly diagnosed with an underlying condition that may actually endanger pregnancy.

That's where you are wrong, development doesn't come from old people. Old people don't like change, they prefer status quo over development.
