A/N: The first 50 or so chapters have a comedic focus and are setup for the following plot. They are fun and introduce a lot of important characters, but don't be scared off by the lacking early plot. All of the setup and worldbuilding will be worth it. Hitching a ride with a summoned demon, Edol finds himself in a magical new world. Unfortunately for the young man, his dreams of discovering and exploring magic are quickly interrupted. This new world... knows nothing like a summoning spell. The few powers with previous information about the easily weaponizable spell quickly try to stifle the news of its existence. The moment Glory, the strongest Empire on the Eastern Continent, catches wind of the summoning spell, they move quickly. There is finally a way for them to conquer not only the continent they reside on, but also a method to travel over to sea to claim the land of other countries. ... New author, but I will try to stray away from the mistakes that make books hard to read. Not going to write a harem, the main character will not be overpowered, and the plot armor will be too thin to stop a pebble thrown by a toddler. Yo. My name is Drav, and I came to this world fifteen years ago. I got a system, a decent family, and a strong body. I was kinda surprised by this world. Y'know, when you're reading about people going to different worlds, there is always cool magic, right? Well, not here. The most magical thing here is this stupid system. It only seems to know about plants! Sorry system, I don't really care if that's a 'Strongylodon Macrobotrys!' It's a useless flower! Tell me something that will make me stronger instead. Anyways, this failure of a system asked me to write an intro. The dumb thing doesn't seem to have a personality, yet it still took an interest in writing a book. As for how? I'm not sure. It's just a voice in my head, not sure how it thinks it's going to write a book. This should be enough for the system, right? I'm going to get back to working out now. War's coming, and I plan to be at the head of it. ~Note from the system~ This person is strange. He keeps calling me Sil, and says he is the 'main character.' I don't understand. He is also stupid. He wants to join the war. I'm pretty sure he's going to die. Oh well. ~Note from Author~ G'day friends! I haven't written in first person before, so this will be a new experience for me. Drav is a character mentioned briefly in my other book, Lupine Noctem. Neither of my books will spoil each other, so read at your own discretion! Now... Is Drav really the main character, and does he have plot armor like he thinks? What is this 'system,' and what is its purpose?
