Ehhhh, idk if this would be accurate. Hope Gu is a human path Gu, it does not conflict with dao marks of other paths, so the MC should be able to awaken his aperture. A perfect example is Ma Hong Yun. Fortune Rivaling Heaven Gu was used on him, he had an insane number of luck path dao marks, but he awakened his aperture no problem. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to how MC is going to cultivate now.

I'm gonna assume that MC's not gonna use boiling essence method again to increase his aptitude? I don't see why not tho... Obviously you'd need a Rank 3 version of the gu, but the inheritance his master has most likely has the recipe or something...

suspicious. if improvements are seen only after breaking through a major realm, why did the dude wait until MC broke into Rank 2 to test him/take him as a disciple? Man has ill intentions

People really didn't think when writing these comments. Why would clan leader care about some 9 y/o with D-grade talent? He's already expelled from the clan, the chances of death outside the village are high. Ppl really think Gu Yue Bo gonna demean himself to deal with some 9 y/o bc he said some harsh words lol
