All of these horribly translated novels have really trained my brain's autocorrect. This got me and I had a good laugh. +1 like
Google removes sites that violate copyright, so it's harder to find the raw since mostly pir.ate sites can show the raw name with English search results. A way to get around this is to click on the notification in the search results that some results were removed due to copyright. There you can find the link to said removed site(s). After that, you go to it and search up the English name. If that novel is still up, usually pir.ate sites include the raw name. From there, I paste that raw name into Google and hope for the best using google translate. It's nice to support the original author or find out ahead of time if the novel is good. I hope that helps!
Small and brief spoilers ahead that aren't substantial enough to be marked as spoilers in my opinion; read at your own risk. I would not recommend this novel, but, compared to other novels on this site, it's okay. The biggest issue is the plot: it jumps all over the place. The story starts off normal and promising, albeit a little too slow paced, and then things get weird and the quality drops. Earth gets destroyed and mutates, which had no relation to the original plot of the story being based on the otherworld. Chapters start repeating, are displaced multiple chapters ahead, or even missing altogether. Once the mutation plot is used up, a new random plot of sci-fi vs magic is briefly added for no reason where the story could've ended. In all, the lack of plot cohesiveness put me off; however, if that doesn't matter to you and you don't mind a story that jumps to completely different topics to try to keep things interesting, then it isn't horrible.
why bother doing that when you can directly take the spoils from them? they did say anything besides killing goes
To avoid an academy trope :)
What did he do with Ling (the dragon)? He didn't bring it with him to the competition and it hasn't been mentioned in a while. I've read ahead and I haven't seen anything about it either, so I guess it got erased from existence. Have I missed something?
Since no one defined the fancy word: poignant - "evoking a keen sense of sadness or regret"
yeah, especially when they're guaranteeing that 9 decently talented people per group will fail the entire entrance exam, despite them already qualifying as a normal disciple. very stupid indeed
at this point, I'm just gonna assume that mc gave the leftover money back to his parents since they did give it to him just to buy an egg, so maybe he felt that the leftovers were rightfully theirs to have back
The assessment will be taken in groups of 10. Each person needs to cross the thin bridge (presumably at the same time) and ring the bell all while holding 2 sand bags. The first one to do so wins. Also those who fall off the bridge are eliminated.
Where does it say that those people came every year? You likely assumed that due to people knowing mc had already failed 4 times before. So, I was explaining why that assumption is probably incorrect since those people learned of mc's failure through how well known he was, not through actually observing it themselves. As for how they recognized him without ever seeing him in person, guess he's just that famous.
ppl know him because he's "almost famous" in the town
the author likely means that his persistence in the face of no hope made him well known to the area
he means recruiting him; not about saving him
