I really enjoyed this book. It definitely went all over the place but wasn't hard to keep up. It had you rooting for the characters as well as understanding why they were the way they were by way of their upbringing and circumstances.

This chapter is helping me understand her actions on the first chapter. Waking up after a one night stand how her brain is working vs how mines would be. So she went in no strings attached so she didn't care who he was. However based on her body though she ran into a problem. While going in her brain didn't care who the guy was, during was pleasurable and she was finally fulfilled sexually. She looked for that through all the guys she has dated and slept with so far. So this helps set it up going forward. The way she woke up and her choice to have a one night stand to begin with pulled me out of the story. However with the 3rd chapter I am back in. So I will continue reading on.

A strange mixture of emotions I am having here but I will keep reading. She wakes up and is not panicked she is fine with what she expects happened with an unknown stranger. Her first instincts is to investigate how good of a job mystery man did to get her into this position! Its just odd. 🤔 Granted that it is a different take on most romance novels that start out with this one night stand troupe. 😏

Alex and Ms Dilequent are going to lose their calm when Abi is gone. She is what keeps the rage calm. Its going to hurt and be hard. Alex is going to have lots of regrets and I wonder if he will finally make a wish! Miracles do happen, after all! Don't request live for I don't know how to give or receive it! That is so sad! However love is definitely showing up for both!
