The things is even if he lied and Legion fall for it. He didn’t really have the choice. He needed help and even if the Mad elfe won a lot out of this deal. But I agree, it’s cool that other characters as an impact on the story. It’s just, I really don’t like Cassie. But the author is really great, to make me dislike a fictional character who is not even really evil. I mean she did all the choice naturally. It was normal that Nephis who help her when she was in need the most compare to Sunny who just help her at first because of Nephis, was helped by her. It’s just that Sunny was never paying enough attention to her, even if it was hard to predict that she had this much influence. It was alway clear that she hid a lot and a lot of things!

If we look at the story Sunny doesn’t have a big impact. He didn’t change the end of Antarctica, he didn’t prevent or stop the war between clan. In this nightmare he didn’t killed any defilement. Nephew has a way bigger impact for the moment.

It would be normal if she manipulate everything during a nightmare but that she influence everything from the last nightmare is not logical.

It doesn’t make sense that she could predict the pyramid, a space separate from the time and space of the world to protect the secret from god. It would mean she can predict thing that even gods will have difficulty. I like the cliffhanger but Cassie is way to op and I don’t like her.
