Greedy_Pit1mthPostedThis book while only having one chapter so far sets you in a unique world. Hidden powers are hinted to exist in the first chapter, giving this story a future promise of conflict and adventure. The author does a great job of character description and world-building, with each building and place within this story thoughtfully described. I love the aspect of gods within stories. It gives the reader a large sense of scale and lets you wonder how Cruces(the male lead) will grow and fit this scale. In summary, I think this story so far has a great start to what could be a great novel.

To start with, they were much larger, towering above the surroundings at more than three meters of height. Their carapace seemed to be thicker. It was colored in deep black and scarlet, like an ancient armor drenched in blood. Here and there, vicious-looking spikes were growing out of the carapace, making their every move much more dangerous.

This novel is truly amazing, every character feels real and unique each having their own personality, But my favorite part of this novel is the lore and mystery incorporated into it in the later chapters which really makes it shine from the other junk on this site, also the descriptions of the monsters is also great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The headless giant was more like an Echo than a living thing, but then even Echoes seemed to possess some remnants of a personality — at least his poor Scavenger had one.
