Lucan (not sure if that spelling is right), forget wolf pack leader, went through the portal twice. we know he was losing his mind in the end and we know he made Lerrin vow that he, or any other wolf, wouldn't go through the portal unless dire emergency. This tells me that Lucan submitted (gave into) to the voices within the portal so the wolf pack could lead the Anima. I also think that is why the pack has become so ugly. At least that is my theory. Can't wait to keep reading!!

I'm in love with all things dragon so I completely agree and it's one of the reasons I'm enjoying reading this story.

Something I haven't seen yet is a female vampire with a non-human shifter like a type of fae (pixie, knomes, fairy etc) or with a dragon shifter like Dante.

I like the Vampire prompt. Could easily make that into a novel. Since it's been done a couple times on WN, how would you make your story different or stand out?
