Painfully mediocre. The most common tropes are stuffed inside of this. The first two or so chapters were really, really good, but the quality takes a sharp dive after that.
Just figured that one out?
The writing quality is good, the fighting scenes are detailed and logical. There's a certain lack of descriptive quality regarding the character himself, but that can be attributed to my own preference. The stability of updates is very good, think the author is doing once every day now. Story development is rather stale, there's no characters to care for, nor is there any pressing situation or reason for growth. Character design is pretty poor, it's obvious the author doesn't want to focus on it, and that's fine, but it leads to a rather stale story. World background is interesting, this story concept has been done a couple of times before (a section of the population being taken into different grades), but a gripe I have with the story is also that the main character is automatically put into the highest class not through any efforts of his own, but because he's really talented...which is rather disappointing. Looking at similar style stories like Solo Leveling, the MC still has reasons for growth and though the Solo Leveling MC is talented, "chosen by death" as he is, the more prominent thing we, the readers, notice is his determination, the ability to push past injury for those he loves, for power, and the planet he lives on. None of that exists for this story. I've only read up to chapter 15, so maybe these things are developed later on in the story, but there's no initial hook.
ah, yeah, that makes sense actually.
"He is not an adult trapped in a child's body, rather he is a child with adult memories." These are both functionally the same thing, no?
Am I crazy for considering bear paws as hands? I mentally disqualified monkey because it only has hands and feet. Not two pairs of feet. Idk
She could be the gateway into the Mephisto arc, something like the desperation of her revenge driving her to make a deal with the devil.
That's not really the question. Homelander's blood vessels likely can't handle 10 tons either, but if Xia Strength : Homelander Strength is roughly 10 : 100, then it doesn't make alot of sense for Homelander's physique to offer such little gains. Unless, Xia Constitution : Homelander Constitution is something like 9 : 10
...Are you sure you're a wizard?
So childish lol
