as my first quick transmigration story, this was a really good book. honestly, I would recommend this to my friends as an introduction to quick transmigration. I will say though I would have preferred if the arcs were a couple chapters longer. they usually ended up being about 10 chapters with some getting a few extra but I would have liked to see them have an average of 15 chapters. there were a few arcs I felt ended a bit fast or the epilogue of that Arc was a bit short. I'll also say that if someone is initially starting to read Chinese romance novels I would not suggest starting here or with any quick transmigrations. this book definitely needs background knowledge in many different genres before reading. overall would read again! definitely adding it to my good books folder! ☺️

also it feels like the world is doing this to them on purpose. trying to give them the most heinous odds to see if their souls are really compatible or for each other

it's not your immortal lover! you should know this by now! it's especially concerning that he doesn't realize this when he already sees someone who looks like his past life self so logically his immortal lover would also not have the same appearance
