Yeah I only started following football fairly recently, so for someone like me, as soon as I saw a yearly salary raise in a contract, a red flag went up in my head. I think it would be helpful if you did clarify it in the story. Thanks for your explanation.

I just wanted to bring to your attention the salary increase clauses you put into contracts. In FM22, everyone I know who plays always immediately removes and excludes yearly salary raises from negotiations with players, and I think that in this story you should replace them with things like appearance fees, goal+assist bonuses, and landmark goal+assist bonuses.

Axel Witsel from Standard Liege? Jordan Henderson maybe(at Sunderland but still hasn't made a first team appearance, next year gets loaned to coventry city). Bonucci is good rn. Azpilicueta is at Osasuna until 2010. Jordi Alba gets loaned to Gimnastic this year. Busquets and Thiago(Liverpool player) are at Barcelona B. Christian Eriksen is at Ajax. Benzema is at Lyon(not sure if he is on the first team yet). Griezmann I believe is 16 and at the real sociedad academy(he makes his first appearance in the 09-10 season). Suarez transfers to Ajax this season.

The movement shown by Toney had placed him in a position where the numerical superiority was on the side of The Blues. The point of superiorities was to have better control of the ball and progress it easier but in this case that worked against them as the qualitative superiority of Toney in the air was too great for the players around him. The extra numbers in that area also meant they were light in other areas which was the reason that the striker headed the ball to the edge of the eighteen-yard box. The region which he headed towards was about to be occupied by the classy attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen, who killed the momentum of the ball dead. He then pulled back to unleash a strike when the young centre back Ravil who had been biding his time came flying out at him to block the shot. Eriksen proved the difference in quality in one superlative move when he lightly pushed the ball past the defender, the previous pull back having been a cleverly disguised decoy. Either that or he simply changed his mind when the defender came, both being possible for a player of his calibre. The space now open to him in the box was truly shocking and Kjell attempted to make himself as big as possible while closing the space down. For those who don't play FM, when you send your scouts to scout a player you get reports on all the attributes that aren't hidden. However, you also get a pros/cons list about the player that can have stuff like this player is 'good in the air'(usually meaning they have a high jumping reach) or you can get something like 'this player has a tendency to get injured'(meaning their injury proneness, a hidden attribute, is pretty low). So that is what the author means by the pros/cons report.
There are six hidden attributes that are unknown throughout the player's time as a footballer in the game. There are great clues to find which help us figure out roughly what ratings each of these stats could have. These clues can be found sometimes when quality scouts have gained lots of knowledge on a player.
