I already like the characters on first chapter since he Clever and not naive. He know what situation he is in so he prepared to make sure he don't die.

Firsts time I see this kindness on most of books. It basically the Guild are bad and will come to house and ask for loan money. But this guild is too kind that they reduced 300,000 after they know her situation.
The debt is shouldered by her. 200,000 Spirit Coins are a lot of money for Ye MingXuan because the guild did reduce the money to 200,000 from 500,000 because it knows her situation. She could only earn 72,000 per year and she could only pay debt 20,000 to 25,000 per a year and that was a good month. She could not even save some money and the Guild didn't send ' Debt Collector ' as long as she paid ' 15,000 ' per a year.
