i think killing the mother is repititive in this author's book though this one was kind of well done. the reunion with bella and nial was in my opinion underwhelming and Nial didn't really make Bella feel how hard his mother loss is to him i feel like it's an important part of the story and could have been written in more impactfull ways than it was. Even rhoufh they both are heavily affected/controlled by their divinity fragments i feel as though there should have been a bigger connection between the two of them, and more guilt should have been felt by Bella.
