Laplace's Demon is an idea that if you knew the exact state of the universe at any given moment, you would be able to predict the complete past and future perfectly, given enough data. The idea is called Determinism, as in the future is determined by the present. Essentially, if some Demon had information about every particle in the universe, it would perfectly understand the big bang, as well as how the universe will end, including everything in between. Right now, this jester god is calculating the future of the planet Earth by simulating the interactions of subatomic particles. Literally mind-bending
