If they just want to kill him, what is one planet to life of a god? Is there any other reason why they can't just destroy the planet?
[For your first question, that is something I cannot answer even if I want to, all I can say is that it will all be revealed in due time. As for your second question, there are two reasons we don't have to worry much, first is that you have a 12 years gain on them which you can benefit from under my guidance and the second is that the gods will not personally descend on Earth, more accurately they can't as the Earth would be vaporized in an instant if even one of the gods were to descend on the Earth so rather, they would also descend in the bodies of mortals choosing them as incarnations.] - Redmon22dCommented

Yes, despite the size of that thing, it's only as powerful as a Tier 9 superhuman. Of course, Cedric didn't say this to provoke the team into eliminating that titan. Because even though it is 'technically' weak, its physical defenses are extremely perverted. Cedric could imagine all of them spending days on end trying to put that thing down, only to barely make it happen. - Redmon1mthCommented
