I would respectfully disagree. There are a lot of stories that throws you right into the middle of the plot without context and its up to you to figure it out. This is used both as a story telling mechanism or to create interest. We see the end at the start. Like the witcher netflix show. You only understand the time line of the scenes between the witcher and ciri by the time you reach the end of the season. Inception does the same thing. At the start, its already in dream and you dont understand it until its explained later. In this case, we see the end happening and explains a lot on the future. Its different from the "on your face" explanations that is used in most novels.
