I think Ann is trying to take our attention away from an extremely important point here, using the whole foreshadowing of Dalilah awakening soul magic and getting Alma to herself, which, let's be honest, we all know WILL happen fr. The point is: Katherine "Kate" Quinlan. Where is she? What is she doing? Why didn't we get a pov on this bishhh yet? Why is she getting the triggering memories if she was supposedly dead by now in the 1st timeline, and only those who lived longer should prob know? Did she even actually die back then or did she fake it? What is her deal? Why is she so suspicious to the point that CHAOS warned Nat and US about her? We know he keeps secrets from Natasha, does he feel more from Kate and is keeping it from her, because she denies even talking about Kate with him? Better yet, is Kate the missing Princess from the Meredithian Empire? If so, wouldn't that mean she's a spy infiltrated in the north, with *thievery magic* + *transformation magic* + [and MAYBE] *mind magic*??? Could she be the one who's actually mated to Mina, the mind spirit? Could she be playing Nat like Dalilah did in the 1st timeline, and since she could have the Mind spirit, one of the strongest, it would be powerful enough so Chaos wouldn't be able to tell? Even if not through magic, she must be manipulating Natasha through her feelings. We know she loves Kate. What is her goal? We've seen her eyeing daddy Gilbert, no? Has her goal been to get Gilbert for herself, become the Grand Duchess, and use that power to help the Mad General infiltrate the Caspien Empire, while no one would even see it coming? Guys, I don't know, but I feel like she is BAD BAD news, like, Dalilah level of bad news.

First of all, I'm loving this! Let me give you a little resume of it: The female lead is the best kind, she's badass and intelligent, but doesn't know how to express her feelings and is introverted, because of that, the male lead thinks she hates and looks down on him since they were kids, so he hated her and saw her as a rival for it, while she is crazy in love with him. Then comes the letters, when he lost his mom as a kid, he was 10, she was 8 and sent him letters to help him know that someone cared about him and loved him, but since they weren't close because she malfunctioned when near him, she didn't sign them as herself because she thought it would be a burden to him. Which led to the misunderstanding of him believing her second older sister, who's his age or so, wrote them 😭. He fell in love with the pen pal of the letters, not her sister, but since he thinks her sister wrote it, he believes that he loves her. Nevertheless, she doesn't want to tell him because she doesn't want to project those feelings of his on her in a forced way, she wants it to be natural, for him to learn it on his own. However, he is blunt, low-witted in this, and the vision he has of Mia doesn't make him connect her to the pen pal, and he's extremely stubborn. But even then, even doing his all to hate her, he is attracted to her regardless, even if she thinks he isn't. Now they have to live in the same villa, together with all their twelve siblings (he has six and so does she), and deal with their bottle up confusing emotions. So, in conclusion, there's a long way to go, misunderstandings to clear, and the writer does this well, and I can't wait for more. This will definitely be a rollercoaster, and I doubt it'll be a less than 100 chapters, given how much stuff will happen and how much things there are to clear up and take place. Hopefully it'll be a HEA, Mia has suffered too much, I can't handle it not being a HEA. It's a 5 stars for me. Also, loved the cover!
