I mean, it's literally impossible to make 2069 tech in 2004. No matter how much he knows about the tech there wouldn't be machines to make the parts around. it would have to be a slow grind to modern tech. faster than it happened in real life but still slow.

This was a test from Rex to Yuta. If he gave up his dream of becoming a Trainer just because he couldn't gain the approval of the Taillow, Rex wouldn't invest in him anymore.
