Sentence is confusing the whole paragraph

Muzzle is a better word, than using nozzle as a gun reference.
Even Mrs Harlow knew that her reaction was much too suspicious but she couldn't hold herself back. Just three days ago, that man had come to her and placed the nozzle of his gun on the side of her temples. He had warned her that if Ari did not return home in the next week, he would seize all the assets that he had given to her and her husband.
