Machine guns, Tanks, Warfare, Strategies... What more do you want as a true man?? This work is a blood pumping absolute masterpiece!!
a very well written 5 Star review😂
A few chapters in, and I'm already hooked! Interesting world, absolutely unique power system, realistic character, good plot pacing... man, if you keep this up, I dare say you'll be compared to LotM someday!! (Emphasis on "compared"😅) Either ways, keep up the good work buddy 👍🏼 PS: why the heck is this under the Video Game genre??🤔
I'm lucky I was interested in reading steampunk stuff this period. Else, I woulda missed such a low-key masterpiece. Why the heck would they change such a dope name as Whispering Verse??
The only thing I can dispute in this review is the balance of the power system. Don't get me wrong, SS has a very balance power system with the Classes and Ranks and Flaws and all. It's all good... Until Nephis happened😭😭 I'm telling you, Neph is a freaking BUG!! She just breaks the scales on so many levels😭😂😂 (Btw, to those who haven't read, don't take this review as a reason to think the novel is bad or anything. if anything, Bug-Neph makes the novel even more interesting and fulfilling👍🏼
Naturally, SS deserves a 5 Star rating obviously. though I'm writing this review for a different reason: Isn't it time Cassie's description changed? Her convo with Sunny about breaking Fate, towards the end of 3NM was definitely 🔥🔥 Also, shouldn't Effie and Kai and Morgan and Modret be here by now?🤔 Dunno how this thing works exactly though, but I'm just asking. but still, SS is 5-Star definitely🔥🔥🔥
Great novel overall. Stable pace, and the world is revealed gradually. Just have a question tho: Why th is the genre Video Game and not Fantasy?!?! The system is a pretty generic system; allows the MC grows faster, but doesn't ruin the story. But it's definitely not enough to change the genre of the novel to Video Games. I mean, the novel is set in a literal High Fantasy world, with gods, Transcendents and multiple superhuman "professions" like Knights, sorcerers, and the likes. It's meant to be Fantasy. Pleaseeee!!
The premise is nice and all, but I'm just going to point out that it's Contrasting. I get that you're trying to write a story about a guy dealing with extreme discrimination, but the contrast is the world set discrimination occurs. First off, for such an advanced world, where you can directly connect to the internet with your brain, you'd think they would've dealt with things like highschool bullying, no? They ran away from Earth to avoid it's vulgarities, yet they repeat the same mistake by not curbing things that may lead to those habits from where it is formed— Highschool. Not very logical, I must say. Even if it's not completely dealt with (which is basically impossible, considering the whole theme of the empire is to be as "Efficient" as possible), someone who took an S-Grade serum, who's abilities are far above the norm, and is thus basically an elite to be, such a person didn't get any attention from the Empire to ensure he grows well?? Come on now. Second, in a world that citizens are tightly controlled, and everything is determined by the Empire, isn't it "normal" for the citizens to take the verdict of the empire as basically the words of a god? On that note, how is it that someone accepted by the system, is discriminated by his peers? Logically, who would "dare" oppose the opinion of the Empire's advanced AI and discriminate against someone accepted by it? It seems little, but when you look at it realistically, discrimination in such a world (even down to the parents) is highly illogical
good to know there will be lighter scenes coming up. I kinda noticed when Julien pushed Aofie and it felt good (hes's a real troublemaker lol😂). I looove the premise of the story, and how it's looking so far. keep up the good work😁👍
