Has some good chapters, but I've found myself hating Author's characterisation of some victims and OC's more tham the actual cheaters, due to the fact that many of the so-called revenge plans are mindlessly cruel, disturbing and disproportionate to the actual cause. The quality of the work itself was refreshingly good, but the fact I felt bad for the targets of revenge more often than not makes me feel that either the Author actually wanted to ellicit this kind of response, or has sadistic tendencies and the kind of imagination people use to write NTR and other depressing shit.
That was disguting, honestly. I feel like every chapter gets less about deserved revenge and more about cruelly torturing characters you create to pour you frustration from the source works. And honestly, with every chapter I begin to sympathise less and less with the percieved victims of NTR, and I hate the genre with a burning passion.
I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I mean they weren't actually dating so is it really NTR ? And your portrayal of here marriage is arbitrary and focused on revenge. Unless you have an actual source mentioning their situation posr-graduation, I'll see it more as depressing What-If rather than revenge.
Sole prince ? I think we read two different stories, because O remember him being second son, who wanted to either spend his life as the Lord of Storm's End or go to Essos and be an adventurer. So what exactly did you base your poorly written criticisism on ? He is in no way meek, and he does not lack ambition, right now he is grieving, angry, and most importantly, without any allies, so I think it would be natural to ally himself with someone he may consider suitable for the throne, especially since the Hand generally has a lot of influence.
He literally spent half the story trying to stop the war from happening, hence savong tbe Starks, he was willing to leave the throne to Jeffrey and spend his life in Storm's End, and now you are suprised he does not get a hard-on for the throne ? I think you don't really get the character you are talking about. Yes we have mentions of how he wonders about being king, but still at his core, he is a second son used to being in the shadow.
I don't get why people assume MC has to go for the throne. He literally has no positive experiences tied to the position, he spent his whole life as a second son, who would not get to sit on it anyway, and suddenly people think he would just refuse a good position, go with his 4 infant dragons and a small boy, and conquer Westeros all alone with his might sword and vague powers. And who knows, maybe he'll even survive long enough on his own to have his dragons grow up, but guess what ? Daenerys will still have bigger dragons, bigger army, more allies, and nicer booty, so quit whining about how you don't like the progression and go write your own OP wish fullfillment SI fanfic, where you get all the dragons and everything goes your way. As for the author, Good Job, the story is fine, and I hope you will not drop it because of some insignificant critique from anonymous smartasses.
