It's Oct 1 today, and I guess it's too late even for belated birthday wishes. Still, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!🎂🎈 And yes, Caleb should tell Connor. Cuz Ashton's right. It sucks when someone lies to you, but it's worse when you find the truth from someone else. The point here is that he lied and not what he lied about. So Caleb, you don't need to worry about your son being disappointed or whatnot. He's more mature and understanding than you give him credit for. Just spill the beans as soon as possible.

Oh, I kinda thought Cyrus already knew about Ashton's return and that's why he invited them. Apparently not, but yeah he probably guessed some of it. And about the two new additional characters... I'll not jump to conclusions. l'll save my judgement for later. That is, if the author plans to give them more screentime.

So that pure-blood dude, what's his name... Cyrus Viserboldt... you read that surname and you just know that he is such a stuck-up, snobbish, crazy guy who is probably soon going to become a pain in the u-know-where. I'm really curious to see what kind of ceremony/ritual (for lack of a better word) is required to join a pack. Is it the same for all packs or does it differ? P.S. I wanna see a cool/exotic never-seen-before kind of ceremony which gives you goosebumps just thinking about it! 😯😲

I'm really liking this idea. Even when Ashton made it sound like they were going to break up, a few chapters back, I believed that they wouldn't just break things off. A few days of alone time to reconstruct his thoughts and feelings, perhaps.... But this idea is even better. Us, readers, can enjoy the romance again but without the worries and insecurities, coz at the end of the day, they are mates anyway. I'm looking forward to it.

I only worry that Ashton will further distance himself from Caleb due to these revelations. He should learn to embrace his past and move on, and I know it's easier said than done, but I don't want this to further stress the relationship between our lead couple. Stay strong, Ashton. Caleb needs you.

Oh here comes the angst...This is one of the very few novels that is not overly dramatic with emotional angst. That's a major reason I started this novel ( and also coz it's ABO and the story's pretty good too). I guess some occasional drama can't hurt. But ever since the story skipped 8 years, it's been a little emotionally taxing to read coz I'm worried about the plight of our ML and MC. But I have to push through coz I really want to see the couple reaching the happily ever after stage. So Author, why would you torture yourself and me? plz tone down on the angst. 🙏 (You can call me over-dramatic but pls consider my fragile heart.)

I wish things wouldn't be dragged back to the Crescentile pack. Not because I think they can't handle it. But because I just want to see less of this Miller person.

Ooh, are we seeing some dynamics in the pack politics? Maybe Riley can become the new pack leader with Christian's help? In that way, the two packs will have a friendlier relationship in the future?

I almost forgot that we left Christian behind to clean up the mess.😅 If nothing major happens, he should be able to come back home safe.
