I mean he's rich, he represents minorities given his Afro-Brazilian heritage, cunning, and on top of all that is powerset is nothing to scoff at. I can’t say I understand your feelings completely But I think a reason why it’s brought up as much especially nowadays is because for a long time after he was introduced they kept taking away his (Afro/black) features that he originally had to the point where a lot of people didn’t know he was of (Afro/black) heritage so know to not change his appearance completely because that’s what newer readers or accustomed to they reference his heritage in other ways

It has a few important differences. 1 telekinesis doesn’t have to travel. Because he has to extend a magical beam(arm) to travel to the target to grab it. It’s why things like dnd separate mage hand and telekinesis 2 it can only do things a hand can do.
