I think he should not become a wizard knight because he would look like a magic swordsman and that's not what this story is about. A possible idea would be that he fights with a two-handed-magicconducting-wand which would serve as a mele and a magic weapon. It would also strengthen the picture of a mage.

I think the knight has some common sense and doesn't annoy Emery too much because he is a wizard. Also thx for the chapter.
